Fans have been asking for months what the main event of UFC Fight Night 154 is, and for the longest period, nobody understood. His UFC record dropped but the fact says what about Jung. Win or lose, Jung is one. It will be tricky to recuperate from such a barbarous KO after such a war of a fight, but after taking over six months off to heal up, hopefully he’s 100 percent healthy and good to go for this battle. The reduction to Rodriguez knocked him out of the featherweight title picture for the time being, but when he could beat Moicano, he will jump right back into the mix. Moicano (13-2-1) is coming off of a brutal KO reduction, this one to Jose Aldo back at UFC Fight Night 144. Like Jung, Moicano was winning the struggle until Aldo turned back the clock unleashed a violent flurry of strikes that transpired Moicano out. He’s 5-2 at the UFC and one of the featherweights in the world. Besides losses to Aldo and Brian Ortega — there is no shame to losing to either of those men — Moicano has been one of the best featherweights in the UFC otherwise. Like Jung, he wants to rebound from his last loss to be able to rejoin the featherweight title combination, but there is no reason to thing that he can not do it. The odds for this fight should be interesting when they come outside, but if I had to guess, Moicano will be marginally favored. Bettors will probably be seeking to fade Jung coming off of the lousy autumn while Moicano is somebody who constantly gets a ton of respect from the gambling public. But it’s definitely a close fight that could go either way, and MMA fans in Carolina ought to be excited they landed such an exciting struggle as the main event of UFC Fight Night 154.
