Ten Sovereigns is put to travel to Australia for a possible shot at next month Everest. The strategy has been supported by coolmore Australia chief Tom Magnier – though worried that the Everest is for Ten Sovereigns down below far from the only choice. A late absentee from last weekend’s Betfair Sprint Cup because of earth in Haydock, aidan O’Brien’s July Cup winner, has an entry at the British Champions Sprint. Magnier told Sky Sports Radio in Australia the three-year-old is going to go into quarantine – but additional Coolmore has other potential contenders in mind for a place in the world sprint. He explained:”The plan is he’s going into re – but we have (Australia-based) Yes Yes running at Sydney this weekend, so we’ll watch and see what happens there. “When he won over six furlongs in the July Cup which has been tough floor, and that’s the way he desires it. “He is going into quarantine, but we still haven’t locked our slot away yet.” Track conditions will likely be crucial on October 19.
