Joe Joyce has been arranged to confront Marco Huck for the vacant European heavyweight title. The 34-year-old may extend his unbeaten record to 11 strikes against Huck, a former WBO cruiserweight champion, together with bag bids when a deal cannot be reached between both fighters. Agit Kabayel had been the previous European winner, but chose to vacate the belt after registering a promotional deal. Joyce continues his career that is fast-moving, having claimed the Commonwealth belt in only his fourth bout, and he defeated former world title challenger Bryant Jennings on things in his last fight in July. Huck has moved up after failing to recover his WBO belt at a stoppage loss to Oleksandr Usyk in the quarter-finals of this World Boxing Super Series. Usyk when he takes on October 12 on Tyrone Spong in Chicago, himself will formally join the division next month, live on Sky Sports.
