“Ask Cousin Gabe” is an informative article at MMAOddsBreaker.com where I answer questions from readers. If you would like to ask me a question, about wagering, any forthcoming battle cards, or MMA in general, please email it to budosophy@gmail.com and make certain you include your title and place. In this edition, I cover UFC Fight Night 110 at Auckland, New Zealand. What’s your fav prop for FN110? -V, Los Angeles, CA Currently, Mark Hunt in Round One (+375) offers the best value, in my own estimation, since I feel that’s the most likely outcome to this heavyweight matchup. After Lewis knocks out Hunt, does he get a title shot or Francis Ngannou fight everybody is talkin about?” -Tiger, Baltimore, MD As I said in my answer to the prior question, I’m of the belief that Hunt is going to place Derrick Lewis away in this competition. But should Lewis come out victorious, I would not despise either matchup. Cain Velasquez is recovering from harm, so there is not any real No. 1 contender. I would understand seeing Lewis jump directly to a title shot, and that I would also understand him being pitted against Ngannou at a title eliminator matchup. As I said however, I don’t anticipate this to be a sensible dilemma, as I think Hunt will end his losing skid with a knockout victory in Auckland. Hello, sir. What do you think about my Lewis, Cutelaba, Elliott & Volkanovski parlay? Thanks. -Stuart, Del Rio, TX It definitely has possibility of hitting — they are four gambling favorites after all. However, as I said in my replies to the two previous questions, I believe Hunt is going to win that struggle. In terms of Cutelaba, I prefer him to win but think he is too overpriced at his current offering price of -290 to use him to get a parlay piece. I think Ben Nguyen is a live puppy in his matchup against Tim Elliott, and that fight isn’t a bet for me. I am simply playing the Over in that one, and Volkanovski of course I enjoy a lot. To conclude, I don’t like the parlay, but I could see it hitting. Thank you for your queries and contributions to this article.
