Rory Best expects that the”kick in the teeth” of Ireland’s list defeat to England can jump-start their World Cup push. Ireland are settling in their Japanese surroundings ahead of the Pool A opener against Scotland at Yokohama on September 22. Joe Schmidt’s guys were thumped 57-15 by England at Twickenham last month but’ve shrugged off that loss by beating Wales. You sit in the center. “We did not get overly carried away after the England game, and we’ll never get too carried away today.” Fraser Brown doesn’t believe a triumph for the guys of Gregor Townsend would count as an early World Cup jolt although ireland have won six of the last meetings against Scotland. “It won’t be a surprise [when we win],” explained the Scotland hooker. “The last few decades, Scotland-Ireland matches have been very physical, very extreme. “The set-piece battle will probably be enormous, which will the battle of the defences.
